What is an Estate Sale

What is an estate sale? An estate sale is when someone hires a company to handle all phases of liquidating a house full of items. This liquidation process includes: organizing, displaying (somewhat like a ‘store-like’ atmosphere), light cleaning and pricing the items to be sold in the home. All areas, benches, shelves, closets and countertops already in the house will be utilized as well as additional tables will be brought in for displaying the items to be sold. We will advertise with photos on our website, EstateSales.NET and additional social media websites. We will also have yard signs strategically placed in the neighborhood to bring additional traffic to the sale. After the 2, 3 or 4-day sale (depending on the number of items) is over you will receive your check. The few remaining items not sold may be disposed of by the family or donated to charity. We will provide a list of charities in the area. Memories Recycled does not have a store to place items in that are not sold.
